Snaps for Music Circus! Even with some sound balance and microphone issues opening night, "the "endorphin-happy" score of "Legally Blonde" built a momentum ripe for excitement.

With a cast featuring Broadway veterans and Music Circus audience favorites, the musical comedy Legally Blonde makes its Music Circus premiere to kick off the 66th season. After auditioning performers in New York City, Los Angeles, and Sacramento, California Musical Theatre has confirmed casting for all six shows in the 66th Music Circus season. The stellar cast for the season is loaded with Broadway veterans--some of whom are making their Music Circus debuts--Tony nominees, and audience favorites from previous Music Circus productions.

Created by Dave Malloy (Preludes, Ghost Quartet) and directed by Rachel Chavkin (Small Mouth Sounds, Preludes) -- making their Broadway debuts -- NATASHA, PIERRE & THE GREAT COMET OF 1812 will blaze into Broadway's Imperial Theatre (249 West 45th Street) beginning in the first week of October with opening night set for Monday, November 14, 2016. The show has just launched a countdown teaser on its official website showing the comet's distance from the Great White Way, along with the opportunity to sign up for THE GREAT COMET's exclusive presale, starting April 24.

The New York premiere of the new immersive theater event MYSTERY OF THE SILVER CHALICE, written and directed by Taylor Doherty and produced by Tilted Windmills Theatricals, takes place tonight, February 16 at 6:30 PM at Joe's Pub at The Public.

Joe's Pub at The Public will present the New York premiere of the new immersive theater event MYSTERY OF THE SILVER CHALICE, written and directed by Taylor Doherty.

?JOE'S PUB at THE PUBLIC will present the New York premiere of the new immersive theater event Mystery of the Silver Chalice, written and directed by Taylor Doherty. The show, produced by Tilted Windmills Theatricals, will take place on Tuesday, February 16 at 6:30 PM. The cast will feature Christina Bianco, Molly Pope, Lauren Zakrin, John Kaczorowski, Jacob Thompson and Katie White. There will be an additional industry-only private reading at the venue at 4:00 PM. Earlier this week, the cast of Broadway's ROCK OF AGES reunited at Highline Ballroom for DON'T BREAK UP THE BAND.  Presented by Showmance Productions, the evening featured ROCK OF AGES Broadway cast members from opening night to closing night, as well as band members from the show's fictional rock band, Arsenal. Directed by Matthew DiCarlo and with music direction by Henry Aronson, The concert included songs from bands like REO Speedwagon, STYX, Pat Benatar, Foreigner, Twisted Sister, Poison, Asia, Whitesnake and more!
