Tony and Olivier Award-winner Shuler Hensley has been offered the role of Kerchak in the upcoming Disney musical Tarzan

Disney's Broadway musical adaptation of the animated film Tarzan has now been confirmed for a spring 2006 opening, with the creative team set for the show.

Casting notices are out for Disney's Tarzan indicating a 2005-2006 Broadway bow.

On February 17th at 7:00 pm, Michele Helberg and Jamie McGonnigal will present a special one-night-only concert to benefit The Matthew Shepard Foundation. The concert will take place at the Westside Theatre at 407 West 43rd Street, the current home of the long-running off-Broadway hit, I Love You, You're Perfect, Now Change.

On Nov. 29th, to commemorate World AIDS Day, the concert raised nearly $93,000 for the organization, making it a resounding success.
