Theatre Communications Group (TCG) has announced the publication of A Master Builder by Henrik Ibsen, translated and adapted by Wallace Shawn. Shawn's version of the play was used by legendary director (and Shawn's frequent collaborator) Andre Gregory during 15 years of work on a theatrical production which, as of 2014, has not been produced in a theatre. Instead, it was made into a film by Jonathan Demme (Stop Making Sense, The Silence of the Lambs, Philadelphia), with a cast that includes Shawn, Gregory, Julie Hagerty, Lisa Joyce and Larry Pine.
