Airigami Takes Rochester Under the Sea in BALLOON MANOR 2015

?Rochester's Larry Moss and Kelly Cheatle of AirigamiTM ("the fine art of folding air") are "pumped up" about the success of their sixth Balloon Manor: The Amazing Air-Filled Undersea Adventure. An estimated 30,000+ visitors viewed the five-story sculpture made from more than 40,000 balloons by an international crew of 75 in just four days in downtown Rochester's Sibley Building atrium (288 East Main St.) between February 23rd and March 8th.

Steve Vinovich to Star as LBJ in Texas Premiere of ALL THE WAY at ZACH Theatre This Spring

ZACH Theatre announces the full cast for the upcoming Texas Premiere of 2014 Tony Award - winning play All The Way by Robert Schenkkan, based on Lyndon Baines Johnson's first year as President of the United States. ZACH Theatre Producing Artistic Director DAVE STEAKLEY will direct at the Topfer Theatre on the Karen Kuykendall stage April 8 - May 10, 2015. Noted Broadway, film, and television actor STEVE VINOVICH will star as President Lyndon Baines Johnson. Mr. Vinovich performed the role of Rep. Emanuel Cellar in the Broadway production of All The Way and was the understudy to Bryan Cranston as LBJ.

This spring Kurt Peterson and Stephenie Skyllas will release a digitally mastered, archival recording of 'When Everything Was Possible - A Concert (with comments)' as memorial tribute to Victoria Mallory. Recorded live at New York City Center on April 29, 2012, 'When Everything Was Possible' was a memorable evening of song and story featuring Kurt Peterson and Victoria Mallory, in what would be her final public stage performance. Mallory, one of the brightest lights of Broadway's Golden Era, tragically passed away from pancreatic cancer on August 30, 2014.

Theatre Horizon to Open 10th Season with THE SYRINGA TREE, 10/16-11/9

Theatre Horizon begins its 10th Anniversary season by taking audiences into South Africa during Apartheid with Pamela Gien's renowned memory play, The Syringa Tree. This lovely work is set to run October 16-November 9. It opens Thursday, October 23 at 7:30 p.m. All shows are performed at Theatre Horizon's home space at 401 Dekalb Street. Tickets cost $20-$38. Discounts are available for students and senior citizens. Free tickets are also available for Norristown residents with proof of residency.
