Live from Lincoln Center Presents LANG LANG'S NEW YORK RHAPSODY

This Thanksgiving, Live From Lincoln Centerpresents the internationally acclaimed pianist Lang Lang and his love letter to New York, the city he considers his adoptive home, set to the music that helped make this city so famous. This special multi-genre event pairs one of the world's greatest virtuosos with a star-studded list of guest artists, embracing a wide range of musical styles and voices capturing New York's magic. 'Lang Lang's New York Rhapsody' will air as part of the PBS Arts Fall Festival on PBS affiliates nationwide on Friday, November 25, at 9:00 pm (check local listings).

Kravis Center Announces Additions & Changes to Regional Arts Concert Series in 2017

The Raymond F. Kravis Center for the Performing Arts is announcing additions and changes to upcoming concerts in this season'sRegional Arts MUSIC "At Eight" and MUSIC "At Two" Concert Series. The classical-music anchor of the Kravis Center's 25th Anniversary Season, Regional Arts is sponsored by Leonard and Sophie Davis.

Hawaii Symphony Orchestra Presents Their First Ohana Concert PETER AND THE WOLF

Join the Hawai'i Symphony Orchestra (HSO) for a special "family" concert on Saturday, November 12 at the Blaisdell Concert Hall. The HSO revives a long tradition of presenting concerts for children and families with this event. The "Ohana Concert" will be the first for the HSO which is celebrating its fifth season in 2016-17. The title piece, Prokofiev's "Peter and the Wolf" has long introduced young children to the orchestra and been a hallmark of youth concerts for decades.

Lang Lang Receives Honorary Fellowship from The Royal Conservatory

Internationally celebrated piano virtuoso Lang Lang has been named an Honorary Fellow of The Royal Conservatory of Music. He received the fellowship - the highest designation conferred by the organization - last night during The Conservatory's sold-out Season Gala concert in Koerner Hall.

Lincoln Center's First-Ever Campus-Wide Livestream Schedule Announced; Will Offer Unprecedented Access to the World's Leading Cultural Center

Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts announced new details for its upcoming global livestream, A Day in the Life at Lincoln Center, the daylong Facebook Live broadcast on October 7, 2016. The unprecedented live event will feature all 11 resident performing arts organizations at Lincoln Center. The livestream will be produced by Telescope, the leader in real-time audience engagement, and powered by their Live Studio streaming platform, giving never-before-seen access to activities both onstage and off. 

Principal Trumpeter Christopher Martin to Make Solo Debut with the New York Philharmonic

Music Director Alan Gilbert will conduct the New York Philharmonic in Beethoven's Symphony No. 5; Bartok's Music for Strings, Percussion, and Celesta; and Ligeti's Mysteries of the Macabre, for Trumpet and Orchestra, featuring Principal Trumpet Christopher Martin in his Philharmonic solo debut, Today, October 5, 2016, at 7:30 p.m.

Oakland Symphony to Present LOST ROMANTIC SYMPHONIES with Kelly Hall-Tompkins

Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts announced today it is pulling back the curtain and bringing arts fans behind-the-scenes of the world's leading cultural campus on Friday, October 7, 2016, with A Day in the Life at Lincoln Center, which will stream live on its Facebook page. The all-day Facebook Live broadcast will give never-before-seen access to activities onstage and off.
