EPIX and FEARnet have partnered to present "Maidens of Mayhem," a week-long festival of horror films

The producers of Tennessee Williams' The Two-Character Play starring Tony Award winner Amanda Plummer (Agnes of God, Pulp Fiction,Hunger Games: Catching Fire) and Academy Award nominee Brad Dourif (One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest, Lord of the Rings Trilogy, Deadwood), now playing throughSeptember 29th at New World Stages (340 West 50th Street), are pleased to welcome Rob Sedgwick and Elize (Lisi) Russell to the company. The pair will perform the roles usually played by Mr. Dourif and Ms. Plummer at the Monday, September 9 and Wednesday, September 11 (matinee & evening) performances, while Mr. Dourif is out of town attending a funeral of a close relative who recently passed away.

A Parallelogram celebrated its opening night last night, Sunday, July 21, at the Mark Taper Forum. The play, by Bruce Norris, is directed by Anna D. Shapiro. Waterwell announces that Smokey Joe's Cafe conceiver, director-choreographer Otis Sallid, and musician Aaron Jones will create a new musical based on The Pied Piper for their summer program. They join the previously announced Kyra Sedgwick ("The Closer"), Bobby Cannavale("Boardwalk Empire"), Stephen Adly Guirgis (Tony Nominee, The Mother****** with the Hat), Megan Hilty ("Smash"), Lin-Manuel Miranda (In the Heights) and Beau Willimon ("House of Cards") who serve as Master Class Artists for the company's inaugural Summer Theater Lab. Culture Project is set to hold a commemorative gala and naming ceremony for its newly christenedLynn Redgrave Theater (formerly known as 45 Bleecker Street) on Monday June 3 at Stage 48 in honor of the late Ms. Redgrave.

Paris Photo Los Angeles concluded Sunday with genuine excitement over the inaugural United States edition of the renowned Paris fair for artworks in the photographic medium. Amazon and Turner Broadcasting System have officially signed an exclusive deal to bring two of TNT's most acclaimed original series, FALLING SKIES and THE CLOSER, to the Prime Instant Video collection on Amazon.com. The two companies made the announcement this morning.

Rob Sedgwick, accomplished New York actor, will join the cast of Warren Manzi's Perfect Crime, the longest running play in the history of New York theater, as Lionel McAuley, the deranged patient of physiatrist Margaret Brent. Sedgwick will perform a special limited run beginning Oct. 15 and running through Oct. 20.

Today Kevin Bacon and Jeff Bridges kick off the '6 Days of Good' giving challenge at 12:00 am ET on the social networking for social good website SixDegrees.org. 'Six Days of Good for Hunger' marks the first in a series of celebrity-championed giving challenges hosted on SixDegrees.org throughout the year to benefit charities working in featured cause areas: hunger, global aid, health, environment, animals and youth.

The evening benefited Guild Hall and The Felix Organization/Adoptees For Children whose mission is to enrich the lives of children growing up in the foster care system.
