Bardway Baby! is back at the Utah Shakespeare Festival for its third annual night of musical entertainment. Bardway, Baby! is a late-night concert event featuring classic Broadway show tunes. Performed by Festival actors, the concert will be held on August 10 at approximately 11 p.m. in the Auditorium Theatre. Tickets are $25 for reserved seating or $10 for general admission. They are available now at the Festival ticket office or by calling 1-800-PLAYTIX.

The 20th annual New American Playwrights Project (NAPP) takes the stage at the Utah Shakespeare Festival August 9 to August 31. Three plays will be presented as staged readings in the Auditorium Theatre at 10 a.m. on selected dates. Chosen from hundreds of plays submitted, this year's lineup includes The Greater Love by Frankie Little Hardin, Turquoise Wind by Kurt Proctor, and Play Desdemona by Daniel Hintzsche.

The Utah Shakespeare Festival recently announced the casting of the first ten actors for the 2012 season. All are familiar faces, having appeared at the Festival in the past. Actors slated to appear thus far are Jacqueline Antaramian, Monica Bell, Danforth Comins, David Ivers, Martin Kildare, Dan Kremer, Kymberly Mellen, Roderick Peeples, Melinda Pfundstein, and Brian Vaughn. In celebration of the 50th anniversary of the Utah Shakespeare Festival, a number of entities have come together to showcase the Festival in seven different exhibits. Guests will better understand the Festival's history by visiting these exhibits and seeing fifty years unfold through photos, programs, posters, displays, and a special showing of Shakespeare's First Folio.

A number of exciting new faces will grace the Utah Shakespearean Festival stages this summer. Patrons will be introduced to new actors who have worked at theatres like The Old Globe, American Conservatory Theatre, Chicago Shakespeare Theatre and more.
