Musical Theatre of Anthem (MTA) announces their upcoming production of The SpongeBob Musical, a musical extravaganza with songs written by the most popular recording artists such as Aerosmith, John Legend, and Sara Bareilles. Television star Tom Read Wilson will star as Squidward in the UK Premiere of THE SPONGEBOB MUSICAL, joining the previously announced Divina de Campo as Plankton.

The Grand Prairie Arts Council presents THE SPONGEBOB MUSICAL, written by Kyle Jarrow, with musical production conceived by Tina Landau, and co-direction by Leslie Navarro and Spencer Bovaird. The show runs March 17 - 26, 2023, at the Uptown Theater located at 120 E Main St, Grand Prairie, TX 75050.

OTHER WORLD, a new musical with an original score and story by Hunter Bell, Jeff Bowen and Ann McNamee will present invite-only staged readings on Thursday, March 16 and Friday, March 17.

The Southmoore High School Spring production is SpongeBob The Musical. This whimsical take on the popular 1990s cartoon features a star-studded lineup of original tunes by Steven Tyler and Joe Perry, Cyndi Lauper, Panic! At the Disco, Lady A, and more. The large ensemble cast is having the time of their lives with this fish tale.

First Stage has announced that next up in their 2022/23 season will be THE SPONGEBOB MUSICAL FOR YOUNG AUDIENCES, based on the iconic animated Nickelodeon series by Stephen Hillenberg, with book by Kyle Jarrow.

PlayCo has announced the cast and creative team of Sarah Einspanier’s Lunch Bunch, a playful comedy surrounding a group of public defenders’ occasionally outsized emotional investment in the meals they share, directed by Tara Ahmadinejad and presented with Clubbed Thumb.

Gareth Gates and Divina de Campo will star in the UK Premiere of the Tony Award nominated, award-winning THE SPONGEBOB MUSICAL which opens at the Mayflower Theatre, Southampton* on Wednesday 5 April 2023.

The Young Company Winter Festival, performed by students in grades 4-12, brings together budding young artists and their professional teams to present jaw dropping storytelling at its finest.

Applications are open to all musical theatre writers for Rhinebeck Writers Retreat's summer residencies. Nine teams will be hosted for nine consecutive weeks in the Hudson Valley between June 25 and August 27. Each writing team will have a private retreat to focus solely on writing their musical for one week.
