KC Rep Adds CABARET To 10-11 Season Lineup

Eric Rosen, artistic director of Kansas City Repertory Theatre, has added CABARET to the Rep's 2010-11 season lineup. Rosen will direct the Tony Award-winning musical written by two of America's most distinguished and prolific songwriters, Kansas City native John Kander and Fred Ebb, with a book by Joe Masteroff.

Welcome to Shirley, Vermont, and the world playwright Annie Baker created for her five-character play Circle Mirror Transformation, running February 18-March 20 at Copaken Stage. Kyle Hatley is directing, fresh from his innovative restaging of the Rep's 30th anniversary production of A Christmas Carol.

For three decades, more than half a million admirers of A Christmas Carol have been delighted by Kansas City Repertory Theatre's annual production of Charles Dickens' holiday classic. This year, the Rep celebrates its 30th anniversary production of A Christmas Carol by refurbishing its iconic set and introducing exciting new elements to the show, which is directed by 29-year-old Kyle Hatley. A Christmas Carol runs November 19-December 26 at Spencer Theatre on the UMKC campus, and is produced in partnership with UMKC Theatre.
