Flint Rep announces a new, reimagined season for the summer: FLINT REP OUTSIDE!

Campsite Media House, a full-service production company based in Orange County, CA, received its first Webby nomination for “The Sound of Passion: Mario Andretti,” a branded film produced for MagnaFlow, starring racing legend Mario Andretti.  The four-minute film, a nominee for Video: Long Form (Branded Entertainment), is cinematic and poignant, creating a connection with the viewer through authentic, powerful storytelling. 

 truTV has announced the season two premiere date for its red-hot hit Tacoma FD, the half-hour comedy set in a firehouse in one of America's rainiest cities. The scripted series returns Thursday, March 26 at 10:00pm ET/PT with thirteen all-new episodes, an increased order from season one's ten-episode run. Created by and starring Broken Lizard's Steve Lemme and Kevin Heffernan of the Super Troopers franchise, the series was the number three new cable comedy of 2019.

Lifetime greenlights two Beyond the Headlines companion documentaries, with award-winning journalist and New York Times best-selling author Gretchen Carlson, to join the network's upcoming Ripped from the Headlines slate. Following the movie premieres of Escaping the NXIVM Cult: A Mother's Fight to Save Her Daughter and The College Admissions Scandal, the new one-hour documentaries produced by A+E Originals, will offer provocative insights and an in-depth look at the people and stories behind the news which captivated the nation. This marks Carlson's second collaboration with Lifetime, as she executive produced and reported on workplace sexual harassment in the documentary Gretchen Carlson: Breaking the Silence.

Fresh off of its blazing-hot first season, WarnerMedia's truTV announced today the second season order for Tacoma FD, the scripted comedy series from co-creators and stars Kevin Heffernan and Steve Lemme of the Super Troopers movie franchise. Tacoma FD launched as the #1 new cable comedy among young adults when it premiered earlier this year and finishes among cable's top 5 scripted comedies. The 13-episode second season order will go in to pre-production later this year and is slated for release in 2020.

Shakespeare Royal Oak kicks off its 18th season in Royal Oak's Starr Jaycee Park Thursday night with the opening of Much Ado About Nothing. The festival continues with peformances and educational programs through Sunday, August 5.Tickets for all performances ($15-$25) are on sale now at www.shakespeareroyaloak.com. Turner's truTV continues to bolster its growing roster of wholly-owned, original comedies as the network today unveiled its 2018-19 programming slate ahead of next week's 2018 Turner Upfront event at Madison Square Garden. The cable network, which since 2014 has transformed into a premium destination for a wide range of distinct, creator-driven scripted, unscripted and hybrid series, announced the greenlight of Tacoma FD (working title), a new scripted series from Super Troopers' Kevin Heffernan and Steve Lemme about a fire department in the wettest city in America. Also joining the slate are two new pilots - a comedic medical advice show created by Ken Jeong and an animated project from Jo Koy, which are currently in development. The network has also expanded its portfolio of existing original series, with new seasons of ADAM RUINS EVERYTHING and Hack My Life, along with an additional episode order for freshman series Laff Mobb's Laff Tracks.

Flint Youth Theatre - Michigan's Professional Theatre for Young Audiences presents The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe adapted for stage by Joseph Robinette, based on the book by C.S. Lewis. Performances for this thrilling new adaptation are Saturday December 2 through Sunday December 17. Tickets are now on sale.
