by Michael Mulhern - Sep 5, 2014

Two words immediately came to mind as I witnessed the magnificence of this production - natural and effortless. Vintage Theatre revives their award winning rendition of Tennessee Williams' A STREETCAR NAMED DESIRE playing now through September 7th. Set against the steamy backdrop of New Orleans' gritty French Quarter, Tennessee Williams' 1947 Pulitzer Prize-winning drama tells the story of Blanche Dubois, a faded Southern belle driven to madness by her animalistic brother-in-law, Stanley Kowalski.
