The reading stars Eddie Kaye Thomas (American Pie, MCC's The Submission), Tammy Blanchard (Gypsy, How to Succeed…), and Michael Chernus (In The Wake, The Aliens) alongside Emmanuelle Chriqui ("Entourage," "The Borgias"), Cheyenne Jackson ("30 Rock," Xanadu) and Krysten Ritter ("Don't Trust the B---- in Apartment 23," "Breaking Bad"). All performances are being held at the Lucille Lortel Theatre and are directed by Carolyn Cantor (Regrets at Manhattan Theatre Club, MCC's production of LaBute's In a Dark Dark House). Proceeds will support MCC Theater's Playwrights' Coalition program, free PlayLab reading series and literary development activities. The next wave of nominees has been announced for TEEN CHOICE 2012, airing live Sunday, July 22 (8:00-10:00 PM ET live/PT tape-delayed) on FOX. Movies 'The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 1' and 'Snow White & The Huntsman' lead the second wave of TEEN CHOICE 2012 nominees with seven nominations each.

The second wave of nominees have been announced for the 2012 TEEN CHOICE AWARDS. Downton Abbey meets Broadway! BWW can report that Dan Stevens, star of the Golden Globe-winning series "Downton Abbey," will play the role of "Morris Townsend" opposite Academy Award nominee Jessica Chastain (Catherine Sloper) and Academy Award nominee and Emmy Award winner David Strathairn (Dr. Austin Sloper) in the Tony Award-winning play The Heiress. Written by Ruth Goetz & Augustus Goetz, The Heiress will be directed by Tony Award nominated playwright and director Moises Kaufman. Dawson's Creek alum James Van Der Beek can now be seen playing himself on the new ABC comedy series DON'T TRUST THE B---- IN APARTMENT 23. On the half-hour comedy, Van Der Beek plays a 'heightened version' of himself.

Transgender beauty queen Jenna Talackova, who now is eligible to compete in the Miss Universe Canada pageant after originally being disqualified because of a rule stating contestants must be 'naturally born' females, makes her first live appearance, Monday, April 9. Talackova will be joined by her attorney, Gloria Allred.
