Los Angeles magazine recently shot a fall fashion layout entitled "Power Plays," based on a modern take on the 1940s classic His Girl Friday, which features a fast talking female reporter who gets things done. The stars of ABCs Don't Trust The B---- in Apt 23, James Van Der Beek and Krysten Ritter, starred in the photo shoot and online feature with FIDM/Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising's Downtown Los Angeles campus as a backdrop.

Director of Clueless, Amy Heckerling, and star of Broadway's upcoming show The Performers Alicia Silverstone reunite in Vamps, a cheeky, fresh comedy about two eternally young party girls navigating the dating world in the Big City. Silverstone plays Goody, a NYC vampire, opposite Downton Abbey's Dan Stevens (also headed to Broadway in The Heiress) as Joey, the love interest of Goody's best friend Stacy (Krysten Ritter). Producers Robyn Goodman, Scott M. Delman and Amanda Lipitz just announced that Alicia Silverstone is joining Cheyenne Jackson, Ari Graynor, Daniel Breaker, Jenni Barber and Henry Winkler in THE PERFORMERS, completing the cast of David West Read's new Broadway comedy. THE PERFORMERS will begin preview performances October 23 prior to its official opening night November 14 at the Longacre Theatre (220 W. 48 St.) in New York City.
