MISTER DAVIS A NIGHT WITH SAMMY featuring Solomon Kee as Sammy Davis Jr. continues its quest on bringing Sammy back to life with A NIGHT WITH SAMMY FUNDRAISER GALA. Featuring notable singers from Broadway and Off-Broadway and of course, Sammy Davis will be making an appearance. The gala will take place tonight, January 27, 2015 at 8:00pm.

NY1 Anchor Roma Torre hosted the free concert event Spotlight on Town Hall last night, March 28, which also featured a special performance from Smash star and Tony-nominee Jeremy Jordan. Also included were performances from the Broadway productions of Chicago and The Phantom of the Opera, Off-Broadway's Avenue Q, The New York City Gay Men's Chorus and The Town Hall Broadway's Rising Stars Chorus. The Town Hall's critically acclaimed Broadway by the Year's® 12th Season continued this week with The Broadway Musicals of 1975 on Monday, May 14th. 1975 was a year that brought us famous shows by musical theater icons including Marvin Hamlisch, (A Chorus Line), John Kander and Fred Ebb (Chicago), and Richard O'Brien (The Rocky Horror Show), among others. Produced by The Town Hall, The Broadway Musicals of 1975 was created, written and hosted by Scott Siegel. Casting for The Broadway Musicals of 1975 included Ashley Brown, Lari White, Bob Stillman, Maya Days, Scott Coulter, Carole J. Bufford, Patrick Page and more.

This epic and unforgettable musical, set in turn-of-the-century New York at the height of the great wave of Eastern Europeans flooding into America, tells the story of five Jewish immigrants and their struggle to make a better life for themselves. The production runs October 28 through November 6, 2011 and performances are in the Irving Arts Center's Carpenter Performance Hall. If I were delusional enough to think my scribblings could turn an unknown into a star overnight, then I'd be writing these words fully confident that by tomorrow morning every Broadway producer in town would want to sign a young musical comedy actress named Oakley Boycott.  Yes, Oakley Boycott is her actual name and as a performer she's as unique as her moniker.  I first saw her two years ago at one of Town Hall's Broadway's Rising Stars concerts, where she floored the place as a rhythmically-challenged singer awkwardly pounding her way through John Kroner's 'Where's The Beat.'  Since then it seems her New York appearances have been limited to Scott Siegel's Town Hall concerts and doing concert musicals for Mel Miller's Musicals Tonight!

The Town Hall, New York's landmark theatre and concert venue is presenting the 5th Annual Summer Broadway Festival, created, written and hosted by Scott Siegel for The Town Hall. Presented on three consecutive Monday nights in July at 8PM, the festival kicked-off with BROADWAY WINNERS! THE AWARD WINNING MUSIC OF BROADWAY on July 11th.
