FUN HOME Breaks House Record at the Circle in the Square

Producers Fox Theatricals (Kristin Caskey, Mike Isaacson) and Barbara Whitman are pleased to announce that Fun Home, the Award-winning American musical based on Alison Bechdel's graphic novel of the same name, took in $392,450.00 at the box office Tuesday, April 28, in the wake of the show's twelve Tony nominations, making it the highest wrapping day of a musical in the history of the Circle in the Square Theatre (235 West 50th Street).

THE PHANTOM OF THE OPERA National Tour Breaks Records at the Fabulous Fox

Cameron Mackintosh's spectacular new production of Andrew Lloyd Webber's THE PHANTOM OF THE OPERA broke the two-week 16 performance box office record at the Fabulous Fox Theater in St. Louis, MO, grossing $4,527,831 for the March 3-15, 2015 engagement. PHANTOM further cemented its place as the all-time box office leader at the Fabulous Fox with 241 performances over 7 engagements drawing 815,000 attendees and generating more than $40 million in box office receipts since the title's 1993 St. Louis premiere.

Fun Home, the highly-anticipated, Award-winning American musical that begins previews Friday night, March 27, announced today an exclusive mobile lottery partnership with TodayTix. MOONSHINE: THAT HEE HAW MUSICAL with Music by Brandy Clark & Shane McAnally Sets Dallas World Premiere

Moonshine: That Hee Haw Musical, a new musical comedy lovingly (and loosely) inspired by the classic TV series, will get the Broadway treatment when it has its eagerly awaited World Premiere this fall at Dallas Theater Center. The musical, which had a much-buzzed-about industry reading in September, features a score by multi-Award winning artists Brandy Clark (a 2015 Grammy Award nominee for Best New Artist) and Grammy Award-winner Shane McAnally, two of country music's hottest new singer/songwriters. With a book by Robert Horn, direction by Gary Griffin and choreography by Denis Jones and musical supervision, arrangements and orchestrations by Tony and Grammy Award-winner Stephen Oremus, Moonshine: That Hee Haw Musical begins performances at Dallas Center Theatre on September 2, 2015, where it runs through October 11, 2015.

Michael Cerveris, Judy Kuhn, Beth Malone, Sydney Lucas & More Will Reprise Roles in FUN HOME on Broadway!

Producers Fox Theatricals (Kristin Caskey, Mike Isaacson) and Barbara Whitman announced today that Tony® Award-winner Michael Cerveris ('Bruce Bechdel'), three time Tony® Award nominee Judy Kuhn('Helen Bechdel'), Beth Malone ('Alison'), Obie Award-winner Sydney Lucas ('Small Alison'), Emily Skeggs ('Medium Alison'), and more will reprise their roles from The Public Theater's acclaimed production of Fun Home on Broadway this Spring. Joel Perez and Roberta Colindrez will also return to the cast, with Zell Morrow and Oscar Williams joining the production as Alison's brothers John and Christian respectively. With music by four-time Tony® Award nominee Jeanine Tesori, a book and lyrics by Tony® Award nominee Lisa Kron and direction by Drama Desk nominee Sam Gold, Fun Home will now begin preview performances at the Circle in the Square Theatre (1633 Broadway, NYC) on Friday, March 27th, with an official opening night set forSunday, April 19th.

Strawdog and Victory Gardens' Crip Slam to Present Fully Accessible Performance of MISS MARX: OR THE INVOLUNTARY SIDE EFFECT OF LIVING, 3/13

Strawdog Theatre Company and Interim Artistic Director Hank Boland and Crip Slam, part of Victory Gardens Access Project, announce a fully accessible performance of the world premiere of Philip Dawkins' Miss Marx: or The Involuntary Side Effect of Living directed by Megan Shuchman, Thursday, March 13 at 8 p.m. at Victory Gardens Biograph Theater, in the Prince Charitable Trust Rehearsal Room, 2433 N. Lincoln Ave. This performance will be fully wheelchair accessible. Audio description, open captioning and a touch tour of elements from the production will also be provided. Immediately following that night's performance there will be a post show talk back with the playwright and director. This performance is pay what you can at the door with reservations requested. In addition to the Victory Garden performance, an ASL performance is scheduled for Saturday, March 16 at 4 p.m. at Strawdog Theatre. Strawdog Theatre Opens New Adaptation of GREAT EXPECTATIONS Today

Strawdog Theatre Company and Interim Artistic Director Hank Boland present a new adaption of Charles Dickens' classic Great Expectations, adapted by Gale Childs Daly and directed by Jason W. Gerace, beginning today, November 11 - December 14, at Strawdog Theatre, 3829 N. Broadway Street. Preview performance tickets are $15 with performances Friday, Nov. 1 and Nov. 8, Saturday, Nov. 2 at 8 p.m. and Sunday, Nov. 3 at 4 p.m. There is a Preview Party, Saturday, Nov. 9 at 7 p.m., with $50 tickets that include access to a post-performance reception. Opening/Press night is Monday, Nov. 11 at 8 p.m. Industry night is Monday, Nov. 18 at 8 p.m. The performance schedule is Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays at 8 p.m. and Sundays at 4 p.m. Single Tickets are $28 and on sale now.
