Shrunken Shakespeare Company (SSC), in association with Joe Paradise, announced today that Nigerian-born Royal Shakespeare Company associate artist Chukwudi Iwuji (The Public/RSC: Anthony and Cleopatra; London Old Vic/BAM: Richard III with Kevin Spacey) has joined the cast of Paul Sorvino's world premiere adaption of Lear as part of their 2014 Fundraiser Gala, including Broadway, Off-Broadway and TV veterans. The Gala will be held on Monday, April 21st at 7:30pm, at TBG Theatre located at 312 W 36th Street, 3rd Floor in NYC.

Gideon Productions will present the stage adaption of Anthony Del Col and Conor McCreery's graphic novel KILL SHAKESPEARE for a limited engagement, March 1-5 at HERE (145 Sixth Avenue). The production will be directed by Jordana Williams and will feature Becky Byers* (Blast Radius), Neimah Djourabchi* (The Inexplicable Redemption of Agent G), Abe Goldfarb* (I Hope They Serve Beer on Broadway), Stephen Heskett (BrainExplode!), Daryl Lathon* (Sovereign), Kelley Rae O'Donnell* (Clown Bar), Mac Rogers (Ligature Marks), Brian Silliman* (The Particulars), and Sean Williams (Advance Man). Arizona Theatre Company (ATC) has announced its second season of Cafe Bohemia, a unique play reading series featuring diverse new works from bold and inventive playwrights. Cafe Bohemia will kick off September 8, 2012, with all readings except for "War of the Worlds," taking place in The Temple Lounge at The Temple of Music and Art in Downtown Tucson.

Question Bridge Selected to Take Part in First Sundance New Frontier Story Lab, 10/23-28

The New Frontier Story Lab has selected Question Bridge as part of the five project teams to attend. The lab will focus on supporting projects that have original stories and engage audiences in innovative ways, across multiple platforms. Organized as an immersive lab experience, activities will include individualized story sessions, conversations about key artistic, design and technology issues, and case study presentations. Drawing talent and expertise from all of Sundance Institute's creative programs, including Feature Film, Documentary Film, and the Sundance Film Festival, the Lab has been planned under the supervision of Michelle Satter, Director of the Sundance Institute Feature Film Program.
