Roundabout Theatre Company, in association with Universal Stage Productions, has announced the Broadway production of HOLIDAY INN, THE NEW IRVING BERLIN MUSICAL is now extended by two weeks through January 15, 2017.

Performances begin tomorrow, September 1, 2016, for Roundabout Theatre Company and Universal Stage Productions' first-ever Broadway production of HOLIDAY INN, THE NEW IRVING BERLIN MUSICAL, starring Tony Award nominee Bryce Pinkham, Lora Lee Gayer, Tony Award nominee Megan Lawrence, Megan Sikora, with Corbin Bleu and Tony Award nominee Lee Wilkof. With music and lyrics by Irving Berlin, Gordon Greenberg and Chad Hodge's new book is inspired by the Academy Award-winning film, Holiday Inn.

The first-ever Broadway production of HOLIDAY INN, THE NEW Irving BerlinMUSICAL starring Tony Award nominee Bryce Pinkham, Lora Lee Gayer, Tony Award nominee Megan Lawrence, Megan Sikora, with Corbin Bleu and Tony Award nominee Lee Wilkof, will be directed by Gordon Greenberg and choreographed by Denis Jones.

With music and lyrics byIrving Berlin, Gordon Greenberg and Chad Hodge's new book inspired by the Academy Award-winning film, HOLIDAY INN will begin preview performances on September 1, 2016, and open officially on October 6, 2016, on Broadway at Roundabout Theatre Company's Studio 54 (254 West 54th Street). This just in! BroadwayWorld has just learned that THE HONEYMOONERS, with a book by Dusty Kay and Bill Nuss, Music by Stephen Weiner, and Lyrics by Peter Mills, is another step closer to Broadway.

BroadwayWorld has just learned that DAMES AT SEA will play its final performance at the Helen Hayes Theater (240 West 44th Street), Sunday January 3, 2016, at 3pm.  DAMES AT SEA will have played 32 preview and 85 regular performances, having opened Thursday, October 22, 2015.  

The 2015 "Broadway's Carols for a Cure, Volume 17" now is available on iTunes.  The 19-track album of original and traditional holiday music features stars and casts from the current Broadway line-up, and benefits Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS (BC/EFA), one of the nation's leading industry-based, nonprofit AIDS fundraising and grant-making organizations. The entire album is available for $15.99, and includes a digital booklet with liner notes about each participating cast, designating soloists and session photos. Individual tracks also may be purchased for $.99 each.

The first ever Broadway production of DAMES AT SEA will play its 100th performance on Broadway on Saturday, December 19th at 8pm.  In celebration of the critically acclaimed musical comedy set in 1933, tickets for the Saturday, December 19th 8pm performance will be $19.33.  You can purchase the specially priced $19.33 tickets only at the Helen Hayes Theatre box office on Saturday, December 19th from 10am till 8pm for that evening's performance.  Customers may purchase up to 8 tickets per person and should reference the code Dames 1933 or 100th Performance.

The first ever Broadway production of DAMES AT SEA will receive the honor of being filmed for the Theatre on Film and Tape Archive for the New York Public Library for the Performing Arts at Lincoln Center. The filming will take place during the Tuesday, December 15 performance.
