"The original production of DAMES AT SEA started off-off-Broadway on the smallest stage imaginable, with a great book and score, and a huge heart." said producer Anna Roberts Ostroff, "We are so proud that the current production, which started at Infinity Theatre Company, went on to wow critics and is thrilling audiences in the Broadway premiere of this beloved musical."

"DAMES AT SEA is a fantastic family-friendly musical, perfect for both Broadway series subscribers and theater lovers across the country looking for a sure-fire entertaining evening," said Steve Schnepp from the Broadway Booking Office. "This critically acclaimed feel-good musical comedy celebrates with joy the tap dancing fun and light hearted humor of the Fred-and-Ginger, Mickey-and-Judy beloved musicals of the '30s!"

DAMES AT SEA stars John Bolton as The Captain/Hennesey, Mara Davi as Joan, Danny Gardner as Lucky, Eloise Kropp as Ruby, Laurence Olivier Award winner Lesli Margherita as Mona Kent, and Cary Tedder as Dick. The original 1968 production of Dames at Sea launched the career of the young ingénue playing Ruby, Bernadette Peters. DAMES AT SEA features scenic design by three-time Tony Award nominee Anna Louizos, costume design by two-time Tony Award nominee David C. Woolard, lighting design by Tony Award winner Ken Billington and Jason Kantrowitz, and sound design by Tony Award winner Scott Lehrer.
