New York City Opera concludes its 2016 season with the New York premiere of Florencia en el Amazonas by Daniel Cata?n. Performances are June 22, 23, 25, and 26 in Rose Theater at Jazz at Lincoln Center's Frederick P. Rose Hall. New York City Opera inaugurates O?pera en Espan?ol, a landmark initiative of productions of opera in the Spanish language, Baroque to the contemporary, from Spain and Latin America, as well as zarzuela. O?pera en Espan?ol introduces the opera-loving public to a neglected but significant repertoire and aims to expand City Opera's reach to new and Spanish-speaking audiences.

Green Day's explosive, Tony-winning musical AMERICAN IDIOT blasts into Irvington March 4th- March 13th. The electric-rock opera of youthful disillusion in a post 9/11 world is based on the band's powerhouse multi-platinum Grammy-Award winning album of the same name and includes tracks from "21st Century Breakdown". 

Opera Santa Barbara will open its 2015-16 season with a uniquely compelling, film noir-inspired production of Mozart's timeless masterpiece Don Giovanni on November 6 and 8. Performances will take place at 7:30 pm on Friday, November 6, and at 2:30 pm on Sunday, November 8, in Santa Barbara's historic Granada Theatre. The Bijou Theatre presents 'Tick Tick Boom,' the opening production of their 2015-2016 Main Stage Season of live theatre. The musical opens on Friday, September 11, 2015 at 8:00 pm. Shows also run on the 12th at 8:00 pm, 13th at 3:00 pm, 17th at 7:00 pm, 18th at 8:00 pm, and closes on the 20th with a 5:00 pm show. Tickets are $23 for theatre seats, and $28 for table seating.
