Irish Theatre of Chicago will conclude its 2016-17 Season with the world premiere of Geraldine Aron's touching comedy THE MY WAY RESIDENTIAL, directed by ensemble member Kevin Theis, playing May 17 - June 25, 2017 at The Den Theatre (Upstairs Main Stage), 1333 N. Sullivan Serials has announced the release of the audiobook Emperor, a political thriller featuring voice-over actor Steve Downes as an authoritarian American ruler. The audiobook is available on commercial platforms including Amazon, iTunes and Audible, as well as on platforms used by public libraries including Access 360, Hoopla and Overdrive. Emperor is the fourth episode of the audiobook serial The American Fathers.

Following its sell-out hit The Weir, Irish Theatre of Chicago will continue its 2016-17 Season with THE NEW IRISH VOICES FESTIVAL, three weekends of staged readings from some of Ireland's most exciting new playwrights, never before produced in the U.S.

After an initial delay due to permit processing, The Factory Theater announces season with new dates in new Rogers Park theater. The Factory Theater is ready to begin their 23rd season of shows, which will now consist of two productions. A third will kick off the 24th season in the Fall of 2016, with the remaining Season 24 shows to be announced at a later date. All shows, as previously planned, will take place at 1623 W. Howard Street, at the new Factory Theater.

The Factory Theater begins their 23rd season on a new schedule, in the fall of 2015. All shows will take place at 1621-23 W. Howard Street, at the new Factory Theater. The company is currently in the midst of a capital campaign that includes an Indiegogo campaign to help raise funds for the costs of building the theater.
