Last night, legendary performer Pat Suzuki attended a sold out performance of the NYC-based theatre collective Three Hares' terrific new song cycle, On This Side of the World, with music and lyrics by Paulo K Tirol.  Performances run May 2 - May 12 at Access Theater in Tribeca, New York.

Broadway vet Jose Llana returned for the 20th season of Lincoln Center's American Songbook, four years after his sold-out appearance at the Stanley H. Kaplan Penthouse. Llana performed in The Appel Room at Jazz at Lincoln Center and was joined by his Here Lies Love cast members Jaygee Macapugay, Jeigh Madjus, Renee Albulario and Billy Bustamante on February 1st.

The national tour of the Lincoln Center Theater Production of Rodgers & Hammerstein's The King and I will make its Columbus premiere at the Ohio Theatre April 24-29 with an Ohio native in the lead female role of Anna Leonowens. Hailing from Chagrin Falls, Elena Shaddow takes on the character of the British schoolteacher hired by the King of Siam to educate his wives and children.

This one-night only benefit takes place at The Peter Jay Sharp Theater, 416 West 42nd Street at 9th Ave in New York City. Directed by Baayork Lee (Broadway's A Chorus Line), the performance features an all Asian-American cast of professionals.
