Choreographed by acclaimed tpdp artistic director Yvonne Ng, her solo In Search of the Holy Chop Suey and her work for a trio, Zhong Xin, run as a compelling double bill Thursday, November 24 through Saturday, November 26 at 8pm at Harbourfront Centre Theatre as part of the NextSteps series. Boston, MA—Boston Ballet Artistic Director Mikko Nissinen has announced the 2015-2016 season roster, featuring 11 new dancers and six promotions from within the Company. The Company will be comprised of 68 dancers—including 10 dancers in Boston Ballet II (BBII)—representing 20 nationalities. The full company has returned to its 19 Clarendon Street studios in preparation for the 2015-2016 season.
New York City Ballet announced today that Principal Dancer Jennie Somogyi will retire during the Company's 2015 Fall Season, after a 21-year career with New York City Ballet. Her final performance will take place on Sunday, October 11 at 3 pm at the David H. Koch Theater at Lincoln Center. She will perform George Balanchine's Liebeslieder Walzer.

New York City Ballet announced today that Principal Dancers Jenifer Ringer, Janie Taylor, Sebastien Marcovici, and Jonathan Stafford will retire from the Company during the 2014 Winter and Spring Seasons. All four of these Principal Dancers joined the Company during the 1990s as members of the corps de ballet, and have performed countless roles by numerous choreographers during careers spanning from 15 to 24 years with New York City Ballet.

Akshongay has the singular honour of being the 200th DanceWorks Mainstage Series event and runs from Thursday, April 11 to Saturday, April 13 at Enwave Theatre, part of Harbourfront Centre's NextSteps.
