The mix of plays include a late-in-life romance, an intriguing whodunit, a raucous pop-rock musical, an engaging Midwest premiere and a wildly comic thriller.

A hit on Broadway and in London's West End, the thrilling comedy, Alfred Hitchcock's THE 39 STEPS kick started Theatre at the Center's 26th season on February 21 and continues through March 20, 2016. This comedic spoof offers non-stop action and features four actors playing more than 150 different characters. The show is filled with an incredible series of lightning fast costume changes that make for a great deal of laughter and excitement. First Folio Theatre announces its 2015-16 season, kicking off with the smash hit THE MADNESS OF EDGAR ALLAN POE, running September 23 through November 1, 2015. For its winter show, First Folio presents the World Premiere adaptation of one of the great screwball movie comedies of all time, MY MAN GODFREY, running January 27 through February 28, 2016. The humorously magical FOOLING BUDDHA completes the indoor season, running March 23 through April 24, 2016; and Shakespeare's comedy fantasy A MIDSUMMER NIGHT'S DREAM takes the outdoor stage for the 20th anniversary of First Folio's Shakespeare Under the Stars summer series, which runs July 9 through August 14, 2016.

Peninsula Players Theatre will present a reading of two one-act plays, 'I Shall Love You Forever' by Kathleen Thompson and 'Waiting for Tina Meyer' by Kristine Thatcher and Larry Shue at Bjorklunden (7590 Boynton Lane, Baileys Harbor) at 7p.m., Monday, April 6. Both comedies take a light-hearted look into the twists, turns and varying degrees of romance. Join the Players reading - free admission and general seating available.
