Anticipating the outcome of Election 2016, many are eyeing exit routes to other countries. Waste, Fraud and Abuse offers another universe. Don't worry; the corruption, cynicism and banality are still there, but while our country's election features base vapidity, racism and hectoring, this rollicking musical, running for three weekends in October (Thursday, Friday, and Saturday at 8 p.m., October 6-8, 13-15, 20-22) features wit, satire and clever songs.
Third Annual ESPY Day Raises Over $3.9 Million for Cancer Research

ESPN's third annual ESPY Day to benefit The V Foundation raised more than $3.9 million for cancer research, including $1.4 million that will be directed to the Stuart Scott Memorial Cancer Research Fund, which encourages cutting-edge research for minority populations suffering from cancer.

Indie folk rock band, The Speedbumps, will unite with The Canton Symphony Orchestra tonight, February 7, 2015 for a joint performance showcasing their soulful Americana music inspired by their working class lives in the Rust Belt region of Ohio. Featuring songs from their recent album, “The Harbors We Seek,” and many other fan favorites, the band will share the stage with the 39-piece orchestra at 8:00 pm inside the Canton Palace Theater. Special guest folk songwriter and guitarist, Roger Hoover, will open the show.
