Ruthie Ann Miles has won the 2015 Tony Award for Best Performance by an Actress in a Featured Role in a Musical for THE KING AND I. The role marks her Broadway debut.
Before Broadway's biggest night on Sunday, June 7th, 37 productions will have opened on Broadway in the 2014-15 season. Of those productions, 10 were eligible for Best New Musical and 11 were eligible for Best New Play at the 69th Annual Tony Awards. In these new plays and musicals, 213 actors made their Broadway debuts in new shows.
