2018 St. Louis Arts Awards Entertainment Announced

The Arts and Education Council (A&E) will celebrate the region's vibrant arts community when a diverse lineup of entertainment takes the stage at the 27th annual St. Louis Arts Awards on January 22 at the Chase Park Plaza. With acts ranging from jazz violin to dance to musical theater, the 2018 awards will have something for everyone in the audience to enjoy.

Original Stars Danny Elfman, Catherine O'Hara and Ken Page to Perform Live at THE NIGHTMARE BEFORE CHRISTMAS Screening Tonight in Brooklyn

Pumpkin King Danny Elfman is coming to Barclays Center in Brooklyn tonight and tomorrow, December 6 and 7, to perform his legendary role of Jack Skellington in a very special screening, with the music performed live by a full orchestra and choir, of Disney's timeless holiday classic, 'Tim Burton'S THE NIGHTMARE BEFORE CHRISTMAS.'

La Mirada Theatre for the Performing Arts & Mccoy Rigby Entertainment present the first show of its 2017-2018 season, and the 40th anniversary of the iconic theatre with American Idol's Frenchie Davis starring in AIN'T MISBEHAVIN', with music by Thomas 'Fats' Waller, conceived by Richard Maltby, Jr. and Murray Horwitz, musical direction by Christopher Troy, choreography by Jeffrey Polk and directed & staged by Ken Page - an original cast member of the 1978 Broadway premiere!

42nd Street Moon presents AIN'T MISBEHAVIN' at Gateway Theatre

San Francisco's acclaimed 42nd Street Moon has announced the full cast and creative team for the 2017-2018 season's opening production, Ain't Misbehavin'. A beloved celebration of the music of Fats Waller, Ain't Misbehavin' was originally conceived by Murry Horwitz and Tony Award-winner Richard Maltby, Jr. The original Broadway production made a star out of Nell Carter, who won a Tony Award for her performance. Ain't Misbehavin' runs from October 11-29, 2017 and will perform at the Gateway Theatre (formerly the Eureka Theatre). The press opening will take place on Saturday, October 14 at 6:00 p.m. Tickets range from $25 - $76 and can be purchased through the Box Office at (415) 255-8207 or online at www.42ndstmoon.org.
