The New York International Fringe Festival (FringeNYC), the largest multi-arts festival in North America, celebrates its 15th anniversary with THE FringeBENEFITS SERIES.

ABC kicked off its 2011-12 season pickups with five comedies - 'Apartment 23,' 'Last Man Standing' (formerly 'Tim'), 'Man Up,' 'Suburgatory,' 'Work It' - and seven dramas - 'Charlie's Angels,' 'Good Christian Belles,' 'Pan Am,' 'Revenge,' 'Once Upon a Time,' 'The River,' 'Scandal' - receiving series commitments.

Yesterday, June 23, attends the ABC 'My Generation' Rock the Roof event hosted by Rolling Stone Magazine at the Andaz Hotel in West Hollywood, California. The series will follow a group of high school students in their senior year and then jump to 10 years after their graduation. The show is on ABC at 8pm on Thursdays. Anton Chekhov's The Seagull, as anyone who has ever committed suicide will tell you, is a comedy.  Maybe not as reflective a comedy as set designer Santo Loquasto's mirrored floor would suggest, but Russian director Vlachesalv Dolgachev's new production at Classic Stage Company neatly balances the humorous with the somber and, despite a few stumbles along the way, turns out to be a rather enjoyable and swift-moving three hours and fifteen minutes.

Taking Woodstock opens nationally in theatres August 28th.

Taking Woodstock is coming to select cities on August 14th from Focus Features. The film had a New York City premiere on Wednesday, July 29th, 2009 at Landmark's Sunshine Cinema on 143 East Houston Street (between Chrystie and Allen Streets). Film and theatre star Gaby Hoffman has replaced the previously-announced Kelli Garner in Eric Bogosian's SubUrbia, which will be presented at Second Stage from September 7th through October 9th

Second Stage Theatre has shuffled the schedule for its upcoming 2006-2007 season. In addition, Tripp Cullman has been announced to helm the New York premiere of Terrence McNally's Some Men and Rebecca Taichman will do the same for Theresa Rebeck's The Scene
