Originally announced to close on February 26th, Bert V. Royal's off-Broadway comedy Dog Sees God: Confessions of a Teenage Blockhead played its last performance on February 20th at the Century Center for the Performing Arts (111 East 15th Street) in Union Square.

The play was recently hit by scandal when the New York Post divulged that producer Dede Harris, the lead producer of Dog Sees God, had been sued by producer Peter Stern (another of the show's producers) and Martian Entertainment for sexually harassing one or more cast members . Harris denied the charges, but the play's producers were later banned from the theatre, according to the Post.

The play, directed by Trip Cullman, began previews December 3, 2005 and opened on December 15.

Dog Sees God is an "unauthorized parody" that follows the travails of "CB," America's most hapless cartoon character, and his parade of comic strip misfits, all grown up as teenagers in high school. At opening, the show featured
Eddie Kaye Thomas, Eliza Dushku, America Ferrera, Logan Marshall-Green, Keith Nobbs, Ari Graynor and Kelli Garner.
