Laughter is coming from the stage floor when Bristol Riverside Theatre presents Neil Simon's sidesplitting comedy Laughter on the 23rd Floor today, March 18-April 13. Directed by Keith Baker, the ensemble cast features K.O. Delmarcelle, David Edwards, Bruce Graham, Benjamin Lloyd, Megan McDermott, Jason Silverman, and Carl N. Wallnau.

Bristol Riverside Theatre to Welcome Vita Theatre Company for FANCY NANCY, 3/1-2

For one weekend only, Bristol Riverside Theatre presents the Vital Theatre Company performing Fancy Nancy, The Musical based on the popular children's book. Performances are Saturday, March 1 and Sunday, March 2 at 11:00, 1:00 and 3:00 both days. Capitol Steps Set for Bristol Riverside Theatre, Begin. 2/19

The Capitol Steps bring their special brand of political satire to Bristol Riverside Theatre for one week on February 19-February 23. Featuring parodies of well-known songs from the past several decades skewering the most talked about political issues and scandals of the day, performances are February 19 at 2:00 and 7:30, February 20 at 2:00, February 21 at 8:00, February 22 at 2:00 and 8:00, and February 23 at 3:00. Bristol Riverside Theatre to Open Holiday Season with WINTER MUSICALE, 12/5-15

Bristol Riverside Theatre kicks off the holiday season with Winter Musicale on December 5-15, 2013. This family program presents favorite holiday songs from yesterday and today, including traditional carols, popular classics, contemporary arrangements and original songs to celebrate the spirit of the season. Directed by Keith Baker, the program features BRT favorites Philip Chaffin, Anthony D'Amato, Robert Farruggia, Laura Giknis, Jessica Gruver, Elyse Langley, Meera Mohan, and Sean Thompson, joined by Keith Baker and the BRT Concert Band.

Steve Solomon Comedy Breaks Box Office Records at Bristol Riverside Theatre

Bristol Riverside Theatre starts off its 27th season as a record year for the company. Its first mainstage production, Steve Solomon's My Mother's Italian, My Father's Jewish & I'm STILL in Therapy!, broke all box office records, becoming the highest grossing non-musical production in the company's history. Playing to multiple packed performances, this hilarious one-man comedy goes back in time with Steve from his baby years with his twin sister, right up to the present introducing audiences to Uncle Willie, stuttering Cousin Bob, demented Cousin Kenny, Steve's new therapist, Cousin Sal and Sal's parole officer, and other astounding characters we know, love and tolerate from our own families.

Bristol Riverside Theatre to Present Stage Adaptation of PRIDE AND PREJUDICE, 10/29-11/24

Bristol Riverside Theatre continues its season with Jon Jory's adaptation of Pride & Prejudice in celebration of the 200th anniversary of Jane Austen's beloved novel. Running October 29-November 24, the production, directed by BRT's Artistic Director Keith Baker, features the ensemble cast ofJessica Bedford, Grant Chapman, Rose Fairley, Michael Gamache, Jessica Gruver, Michael Halling, Hannah Kahn, Samantha Kuhl, Mark LeVasseur, Robert Ian Mackenzie, Topher Mikels, Erin Mulgrew, Mary Elizabeth Scallen, and Jo Twiss.

Bristol Riverside Theatre concludes its Summer Musicale series on a high note with BRT Broadway Collection, an evening of hit songs from Broadway's favorite musicals such as Oliver, My Fair Lady, and Wicked. Running today, August 15-August 25, the show features BRT favorite David Edwards, as well as local talent Lauren Cupples, Kristine Fraelich, Jessica Gruver, and Sean Thompson. A production with fabulous performers, a red-hot band, and the sounds of Broadway's best showstoppers, BRT Broadway Collection will have audiences singing and dancing in aisles.

Edgy and quirky, Emmy award-winning actress and comedian Judy Gold comes to Bristol Riverside Theatre tonight, August 9-11 in a program of hilarious stand-up comedy. Performances are Friday and Saturday night at 8:00 PM and Sunday matinee at 2:00 PM.
