Bristol Riverside Theatre Presents PARENTS NIGHT OUT, Now thru 1/5

Are you a parent? Do you have parents? Afraid you've become just like your parents? Parents Night Out, a comedy for grownups, features Karen Morgan and Jim Colliton in a hilarious look at parenting from both sides at Bristol Riverside Theatre today, January 3-5.

Performances run Friday, January 3 at 8:00 PM, Saturday, January 4 at 2:00 PM and 8:00 PM, and Sunday, January 5 at 3:00 PM. Jim Colliton, a Boston native, lives in the suburbs with his wife and three kids. When he is not performing, he spends time hiding embarrassing items in the recycling bin, fighting crazed bats and stealing school buses. A self-proclaimed great Dad, his comedy reflects the trials and tribulations of fatherhood and being a husband.

Karen Morgan, a Southern belle mother of three and married to another guy from Boston, tells the other side of the story. Together, through stand-up comedy, improv, sketch and audience participation, they take the audience on a journey through the wild rides of parenting, marriage and family.

Bristol Riverside Theatre's main stage season continues with Tuesdays with Morrie by Jeffrey Hatcher and Mitch Albom (January 28-February 16), Laughter on the 23rd Floor by Neil Simon (March 18-April 13), and Little Shop of Horrors by Alan Menken and Howard Ashman (May 6-June 8).

Since 1986, BRT has brought consistently acclaimed professional theatre to Bucks County and maintained a long-term commitment to finding and developing new plays. The theatre is the recipient of over 68 Barrymore Award nominations for Excellence in Theatre, given annually by the Theatre Alliance of Greater Philadelphia.
