It's a role that can be a tour-de-force and Marg Helgenberger starts in the Berkshires at Barrington Stage Company in the hopes the production will find its way to the West Coast. Christopher Innvar directs.

Barrington Stage Company (BSC), the award-winning theatre in Downtown Pittsfield, MA, under the leadership of Artistic Director Julianne Boyd and Managing Director Tristan Wilson, presents the Berkshire premiere of Sharr White's The Other Place, starring Emmy Award-winner and Golden Globe nominee Marg Helgenberger.

Celia Keenan-Bolger (The Glass Menagerie), Julia Jones (TWILIGHT films) and Steve Schaeffer will join Adrienne Campbell-Holt (Everything is Ours, Colt Coeur), Matt Stadelmann (SEVEN MINUTES IN HEAVEN, Colt Coeur), Katya Campbell (How to Make Friends and then Kill Them, Rattlestick) and other Colt Coeur company members in a performance of improv and new plays by 17 Brooklyn middle school students. The event is the culmination of Colt Coeur's week-long theatre intensive offered free-of-charge to public school students.

Colt Coeur's Play Hotel reading series will present a free staged reading of She Rode Horses Like the Stock Exchange by Amelia Roper, directed by Adrienne Campbell-Holt, January 28th at 7pm at SoHo House in Manhattan. The cast for the reading includes McCaleb Burnett (Scarcity, Rattlestick), Katya Campbell (How to Make Friends and then Kill Them, Rattlestick), Zuzanna Szadkowski ('Gossip Girl'), and Matt Stadelmann (The Grown-Up, Humana). The event is hosted by Sam Goldberg and Julia Jones.

Rattlestick Playwrights Theater Artistic Director David Van Asselt and Managing Director Brian Long have announced that Halley Feiffer's How to Make Friends and then Kill Them, directed by Kip Fagan, will extend performances through Saturday, December 14 at Rattlestick Playwrights Theater, 224 Waverly Place. How to Make Friends and then Kill Them was originally scheduled to close Sunday, December 8.

Rattlestick Playwrights Theater Artistic Director David Van Asselt and Managing Director Brian Long have announced that Halley Feiffer's How to Make Friends and then Kill Them, directed by Kip Fagan, will begin previews Wednesday, October 23 at Rattlestick Playwrights Theater, 224 Waverly Place. Opening night is Thursday, November 7, 2013. How to Make Friends and then Kill Them runs through December 8th.

Everything is Ours, written by Nikole Beckwith, directed by Adrienne Campbell-Holt, and produced by Devon Berkshire. Performances begin Today, August 31st at 8:30pm, at HERE Arts Center, 145 Sixth Avenue, (entrance on Dominick St. 1 Block South of Spring). Opening night is set for Tuesday, September 3rd at 7:00pm.
