Photo Coverage: Brecia, Sikora & Blickenstaff et al. Appear in 'If It Only...' Concert

If It Only Even Runs A Minute, an evening of rare and inspiring songs, anecdotes, and photos from Broadway musicals that may not have been fully-appreciated the first time around, played the Laurie Beechman Theatre on Sunday, January 31. BroadwayWorld was on hand to capture performances by a starry cast that included Heidi Blickenstaff, Nancy Anderson, Lisa Brescia, Nick Blaemire, Megan Sikora, Jay Armstrong Johnson, Autumn Hurlbert, Jaclyn Huberman, Jason Sweettooth Williams, Brian Lowdermilk, Jay Aubrey Jones, Joe Iconis, Benj Pasek, Justin Paul, Adam Gwon, Katrina Rose Dideriksen, Leslie McDonel, Lisa Brescia, MK Lawson, Marcy McGwigan, Mary Jo Mecca, Kevin Michael Murphy, Megan Sikora, Melanie Field, Michael Kadin Craig, and more.

NYPL's Songbook Series to Feature Joe Iconis, Krysta Rodriguez, and More on 1/25

Broadway star Krysta Rodriguez and composer Joe Iconis have been announced as artists for the upcoming New York Public Library Songbook Series, taking place January 25th. Additional casting includes Katrina Rose Dideriksen, Lance Rubin and Jason 'SweetTooth' Williams, all members of what is affectionately known as the Joe Iconis 'Family.'

All-Star CARRIE Reading is 'Out For Blood' 11/20

Producers, Jeffrey Seller and Kevin McCollum, will resurrect the infamous flop musical CARRIE for a 29-hour Equity of the musical that had a notoriously short 3 night, 5 performance run on Broadway in 1988. The CARRIE reading will take place today, Friday, November 20th. The hope is to bring 'Carrie' and her supernatural powers back to the Broadway stage.

Winner of the Ed Kleban and Jonathan Larson Awards, Iconis will perform a selection of his songs on August 22nd at 8:00pm. This intimate evening will feature Iconis on the piano and Jason 'SweetTooth' Williams and Katrina Rose Dideriksen, two groundbreaking actors that frequently appear in Joe's work.

The best of Broadway is FREE on six consecutive Thursdays this summer with '106.7 Lite fm Presents Broadway in Bryant Park 2009' - a lunchtime series that kicked off on Thursday July 9th at 12:30PM on the Bryant Park Stage. The series, sponsored by Bank of America and State Farm, features live performances excerpted from big-name on- and off-Broadway shows for open-air enjoyment during lunch hour. BroadwayWorld.com's cameras were there to celebrate the launch!

Iconis Rock And Roll Jamboree To Take Place At Joe's Pub 7/10 And 7/17

Rabble-rousing writer Joe Iconis returns to Joe's Pub, bringing with him his beloved family of musical theater punks. The Joe Iconis Rock and Roll Jamboree is a laid-back, fired-up evening of Iconis tunes, featuring new jams, old faithfuls, and glimpses into the future. Songs of hate and hope, suburbia and pornography, cougars and jailbait, dead people and livin' things, and more sing-alongs than you can shake a glass of whiskey at. Some special guests will join Joe for this, the first leg of his legendary 'Mule Mutation' Tour 2009. So come on down to the Jamboree- it's loud, soft, sweet, nasty, and above all else, bloody as hell. Debut album out later this year.
