It's London's hottest ticket! Public booking for Harry Potter and the Cursed Child opened today (October 30) and to ensure customers are given the best possible chance to obtain tickets the Producers opened up a further booking period from 11 January 2017 to 30 April 2017.  With the exception of late release and lottery tickets (not available to be purchased at this stage) from tomorrow at 11am, all available tickets will be on public sale.  

Tickets for the first booking period  (7 June - 18 September 2016) for Harry Potter and the Cursed Child sold out during priority on sale today (28 October 2015) and as a result the Producers have now put on sale seats for the second booking period to 8 January 2017 to those who registered for priority booking.

Now that the artwork has been unveiled, the creative team for the West End's upcoming HARRY POTTER AND THE CURSED CHILD, PARTS I & II is opening up about the plot, which until now has been kept under a strict cloaking spell. Despite earlier rumors the plays would center on Harry Potter's parents, it looks like 'CURSED CHILD' will be a sequel, not a prequel.

Yesterday's October 15th live international broadcast of Academy Award nominee Benedict Cumberbatch in the title role of Lyndsey Turner's production of William Shakespeare's HAMLET was seen by more than 225,000 people, making it the largest global audience for a live broadcast day of any title in National Theatre Live history.

Carly Bawden will go virtual as 'Alice' in Damon Albarn (music) and Moira Buffini's (book & lyrics) WONDER.LAND, helmed by Rufus Norris at the National Theatre this autumn. 

The National Theatre Live has released the first trailer for HAMLET, starring Benedict Cumberbatch in the title role. The production started performances on 5 August and officially opened 25 August at the Barbican Theatre for an exclusive run through 31 October 2015. Big news on the HP front today! J.K. Rowling took to Twitter to reveal that her upcoming play with Jack Thorne and John Tiffany, HARRY POTTER AND THE CURSED CHILD, will be staged in two parts.

HAMLET, starring Benedict Cumberbatch in the title role, started performances on 5 August and officially opens tonight, 25 August at the Barbican Theatre for an exclusive run through 31 October 2015.

Over 140,000 new tickets will be released for sale today (14 August 2015) for the critically acclaimed five-star West End production of Bend It Like Beckham The Musical, now booking at the Phoenix Theatre to 20 February 2016. 

Following a recent performance, the HAMLET star addressed the audience directly. "I can see cameras, I can see red lights in the auditorium," he told the crowd at the London stage door. "It's mortifying and there's nothing less supportive." Watch his full speech below!

As previously reported, the SHERLOCK star has a full schedule following his run in the play, but now the Daily Mail is reporting that Broadway theatre owners have begun scouting the show (a good sign!), which runs for just 12 weeks.
