THE MOST INCREDIBLE THING, a ballet with music by the Pet Shop Boys, will premiere at London's Sadler's Wells on March 22, 2011, whatsonstage.com reports. The ballet, based on Hans Christian Anderson's story, tells of a quest to find 'the most incredible thing' in order to marry a princess, the report says. Javier de Frutos will direct and choreograph, and Ivan Putov will star. The production will run until March 26, and there will be a week of previews before the opening, the report says.

The National Theatre has announced casting for its upcoming productions, starting with Moira Buffini's WELCOME TO THEBES which will run starting June 15. Nikki Amuka-Bird and David Harewood will star in the World Premiere of the play, which tells the Greek myth of the first democratically elected president of Thebes in a modernized way.
