Due to popular demand Abrons Arts Center and New York City Players are adding three additional performances of Really, a new play written by Jackie Sibblies Drury, directed by Richard Maxwell and designed by photographer Michael Schmelling. Performed by Elaine Davis, Tavish Miller and Kaneza Schaal, Really is a play about grief, intimacy and the difference between goodness and greatness seen through the lens of photography. A black woman takes pictures of her artist boyfriend's mom. As they jockey for a claim to him, they try to redefine themselves in the wake of his legacy.

Articulate Theatre Selects Playwrights for 'Articulating the Arts'

Articulate Theatre Company is proud to announce the playwrights chosen for their signature event, Articulating the Arts. Each AtA is themed around an artistic discipline, such as architecture, dance, painting, and for this event, folk music. Our playwrights use these other art forms as inspiration for new plays, resulting in an increased connection between theatre artists and artists of other disciplines. Subtitled 'Folk City Scenes' this Articulating the Arts will showcase plays inspired by folk songs such as City of New Orleans, Puff the Magic Dragon, and Turn! Turn! Turn! The full show listing is:

Me & She Productions and ManyTracks Inc. present a revival of Evan Smith's THE SAVANNAH DISPUTATION, a saucy comedy exploring the imperfections of blind faith and the thorny issues of religious dogma. Directed by Katrin Hilbe, previews begin November 27 at the cell with opening set for December 6.

Full Cast Announced for CROSSING JERUSALEM at Park Theatre

Rehearsals begin today for the new production of Crossing Jerusalem, written and directed by Julia Pascal, at Park Theatre (PARK90) from 4 - 29 August. David Ricardo Pearce will play the role of Gideon. The full cast is: Louisa Clein, Waleed Elgadi, Adi Lerer, Andy Lucas, David Ricardo Pearce, Chris Spyrides, Alistair Toovey and Trudy Weiss. Press Night is Thursday 6 August, 7pm.

Articulate Theatre Company is proud to be kicking off its 2014 season with Articulating the Arts: A Thousand Words, a riff on the world of classic painting, on Monday, March 17th and Tuesday, March 18th, 2014, as a guest production at Theaterlab, at 357 W. 36th St., 3rd floor. Workshop Theatre Company Announces YOU ARE HERE!, Beginning 5/2

WORKSHOP THEATER COMPANY has announced the world premiere production of YOU ARE HERE!, directed by WorkShop Company Artists and Guest Directors. YOU ARE HERE! will play a three-week limited engagement in the Jewel Box Theater at the WorkShop Theater Company (312 West 36th Street, 4th Floor). Performances begin Thursday, May 2nd and continue thru Saturday, May 18th.
