WORKSHOP THEATER COMPANY has announced the world premiere
production of YOU ARE HERE!, directed by WorkShop Company Artists and
Guest Directors. YOU ARE HERE! will play a three-week limited
engagement in the Jewel Box Theater at the WorkShop Theater Company
(312 West 36th Street, 4th Floor). Performances begin Thursday, May
2nd and continue thru Saturday, May 18th.

The plays tell the stories of the evolution of Broadway (the street),
the search for family lost decades prior, a condemned pretender to the
throne receives a mysterious visitor, the events leading up to a
Presidential assassination, and what it's like to have once been love
with a superhero (or two)!

These plays had to meet two criteria: 1) they had to be set in a real
place you could find on a map of the world (current, ancient,
whatever... as long as it exists or existed) and 2) the story being
told could only take place in that specific location. They are...

The Bloomingdale Road by Mark Loewenstern
(the historic Upper West Side)
directed by DeLisa M. White

Gateway for Ashes by Dana Leslie Goldstein
(Ellis Island)
directed by Wendy Seyb

The German Bitch by David M. Mead
(The Fortress of Peter and Paul, St. Petersberg, Russia)

A Man Walks into a Bar by Bob Manus
(The Star Saloon, Washington DC)
directed by Thomas Coté

Second Tiers by Glenn Alterman
(FantasyFest in Key West, Florida)
directed by Kelly Johnston
