Arizona Theatre Company Announces 2013-2014 Season

As the preeminent professional theatre in the state, Arizona Theatre Company (ATC) announces its 47th season with the production of six electrifying plays for 2013-2014, with performances in Tucson and Phoenix. David Ira Goldstein, ATC's Artistic Director, announced the season that will include the Arizona premieres of three of Broadway's newest smash hits, a delightful long-running Broadway musical comedy and will revisit two cherished classic stories in vibrant new productions.

Signature Theatre has announced the seven productions for the 2013-14 Season at the company's Frank Gehry-designed Pershing Square Signature Center (480 West 42nd Street between 9th and 10th Avenues). All subscriber tickets for the 2013-14 Season are $25 each as part of the Signature Ticket Initiative: A Generation of Access. Subscription packages start at just $125.

Theatre503 Announces THE LIFE OF STUFF Cast

Theatre503's Artistic Director Paul Robinson has announced the cast for the venue's first Second Look production, Simon Donald's Evening Standard Award-winning play The Life of Stuff. Gregory Finnegan (Deceit at the Arcola and The Rat Trap at the Finborough) will play small-time crook Willie Dobie, Cameron Jack (South Pacific, Barbican) will play Arbogast and Ben Adams (Men Should Weep, National Theatre) will play Sneddon. The Life of Stuff runs at Theatre503, above the Latchmere Pub in Battersea between 10 April and 4 May.

Three new e-Scripts from Dramatists Play Service have been added to the growing library of recent Broadway hits now available for Scene Partner. The new e-Scripts, OTHER DESERT CITIES by Jon Robin Baitz , THE MOUNTAINTOP by Katori Hall and THE LYONS, by Nicky Silver were part of the recent 2011 - 2012 Broadway season. They join current offerings THE COLUMNIST by David Auburn and GRACE by Craig Wright, both produced on Broadway during the last year. The titles are included in a new release by the Dramatists Play Service as part of the worldwide e-Script agreement with MyTheaterApps.com. They are available to actors and theaters for use in memorizing lines and mounting future theatrical productions of the plays.

Katori Hall's Olivier Award-winning drama The Mountaintop comes to Arena Stage at the Mead Center for American Theater following an acclaimed run at the Alley Theatre in Houston, where it was hailed by the Houston Chronicle as "fast and funny, profoundly poignant, remarkably real and shimmeringly surreal." Obie Award winner Robert O'Hara (Public Theater's Wild with Happy) makes his Arena Stage directorial debut with The Mountaintop, which is produced in association with the Alley Theatre and runs March 29-May 12, 2013 in the Kreeger Theater.
