Opera Orlando is offering $15 student and faculty rush tickets for THE MERRY WIDOW, available up to two hours before each performance with valid ID at Steinmetz Hall.

Fifteen theater companies were selected to perform in the 2024 San Francisco Fringe Festival.  EXIT Theatre will produce the 33rd annual SF Fringe Fest from August 8th through August 24, 2024. 

As part of the citywide Women's Voices Theater Festival, Unexpected Stage Company-the fast-growing, Washington, D.C.-area professional theater company-will present the world premiere comedy Trish Tinkler Gets Saved, by Jacqueline Goldfinger. Trish Tinkler Gets Saved follows former Whitesnake groupie Trish as she waits for a visit from a divine presence at the Eat 'n' Save mini-mart. The production is running October 8 through 18, 2015, at Randolph Road Theater, 4010 Randolph Road, Wheaton, MD (the former home of Round House).

Twenty-five writers and artists from around the globe were honoredSunday night, April 13th, at the 30th Annual L. Ron Hubbard Achievement Awards at the prestigiousWilshire Ebell Theatre in Los Angeles, CA. The two grand prize honors were captured by Randy Hendersonof Kingston, WA who was awarded the The Golden Pen Award and a $5,000 cash prize and Trevor Smith of Tucson, AZ who was awarded the The Golden Brush Award and a $5,000 cash prize.

In what is known as the largest contest of its kind in the world, finalists for the 2nd Quarter of the 30th year of the L. Ron Hubbard Writers of the Future Contest, specializing in fantasy and science fiction, were announced today by Joni Labaqui, contest Director.
