Broadway Cares/ Equity Fights AIDS is pleased to announce that Tony Awardâ winner Donna McKechnie and noted theatre columnist Michael Riedel will join the previously announced two-time Tony Awardâ winner Donna Murphy in the eagerly anticipated benefit performance of PAMELA'S FIRST MUSICAL, a new musical with music by Tony Award® winner Cy Coleman, lyrics by Tony Award® winner David Zippel, book by Tony® & Pulitzer Award winner Wendy Wasserstein and directed by Tony Award® nominee Graciela Daniele.

The stars came out for the Broadway opening of A Catered Affair which is playing at the Walter Kerr Theatre. A Catered Affair has a book by four-time Tony Award-winner Harvey Fierstein, score by John Bucchino, who is making his Broadway debut as a composer and direction by Tony Award-winner John Doyle.

Broadway Cares/ Equity Fights AIDS is proud to present a special performance of PAMELA'S FIRST MUSICAL, a new musical with music by Tony Award® winner Cy Coleman, lyrics by Tony Award® winner David Zippel, book by Tony® & Pulitzer Award winner Wendy Wasserstein and directed by Tony Award® nominee Graciela Daniele, on Sunday, May 18 at 3 PM at Town Hall (123 West 43rd Street) with a reception at Sardi's immediately following. Proceeds will benefit BC/EFA and Theatre Development Fund's Open Doors Program, which Wasserstein founded.

On June 7, 2008, Charles Strouse, the award winning composer of Annie, Bye Bye Birdie and some of the most popular music from the last 50 years of Broadway, film and television, turns 80. To mark the occasion, a year-long celebration of events including concerts, international tributes, revivals of popular favorites and premieres of new works will take place across the United States and around the world.

February is filled with music at Barnes & Noble. The very popular Any Wednesday series celebrating cabaret and theater music continues; plus newly created a jazz series on Monday nights, entitled Cool Mondays, will featuring the best in jazz instrumentalists and vocalists. The West Bank Café announces upcoming performances to be presented in The Laurie Beechman Theatre. The West Bank Café is located at 407 West 42nd. St., at Ninth Avenue.
