The Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA) paid tribute to the winners and honorees of the 2014 CFDA Fashion Awards in collaboration with Swarovski at Alice Tully Hall, Lincoln Center. Film director and screenwriter John Waters was the host for the evening. For the thirteenth year in a row, the evening was generously underwritten by Swarovski.
Free People, Jed Root, and IMG Models Join Together on 'Open Call'

Specialty clothing brand, Free People, is teaming up with Jed Root, a global leader in artist management, and IMG Models, a top international model management agency, to launch 'Open Call,' a hunt to find creative talent from across the country. Together, they will scout individuals who are passionate about styling, modeling, and photography to produce and appear in Free People's upcoming e-Catalog launching in June. Each winner will have a once in a lifetime chance to work alongside famed model, Erin Wasson, and a talented team of creative professionals.

This year's Victoria's Secret runway featured lots of 'birds of paradise,' 'snow angels' and a sparkly Taylor Swift. Hot models of the moment Joan Smalls, Jessica Hart, Jourdan Dunn and Cara Delevingne joined seasoned angels like Adriana Lima, Alessandra Ambrosio, Behati Prinsloo, Candice Swanepoel, Doutzen Kroes, Karlie Kloss, Lily Aldridge and Lindsay Ellingson on the runway.

Since 2002, Swarovski has been adding sparkling glamour to the celebrated catwalk extravaganza, the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show, by exclusively providing the lavish crystals that adorn the costumes, jewelry, accessories and footwear by Nicholas Kirkwood. This year, 20 eye-popping, custom creations will be modeled by some of Victoria's Secrets' most famous Angels, including Lily Aldridge, Alessandra Ambrosio, Karlie Kloss, Doutzen Kroes, Adriana Lima, Behati Prinsloo, and Candice Swanepoel.

To mark the opening at the Brooklyn Museum on October 25 of the The Fashion World of Jean Paul Gaultier: From the Sidewalk to the Catwalk, a short video has just been released about the exhibition, which will be on view through February 23, 2014. Featuring Jean Paul Gaultier speaking about the Brooklyn presentation and top model and Gaultier muse Karlie Kloss earing his iconic designs, it was directed by Stéphane Sednaoui, the noted French photographer, director, and producer.
