59E59 Theaters Sets 2016 Summer Season

59E59 Theaters has announced the lineup of shows for the 2016 Summer Season. Ticket prices range from $12 - $70 ($10 - $49 for 59E59 Members). Tickets for the summer season go on sale to 59E59 Members on June 2 at Noon, and to the general public on June 6 at Noon. Shows in the previously announced 5A Season are on sale now. With its continuing success both nationwide and here in Chicago, the smash hit Hershey Felder as Irving Berlin is extending its return to the Royal George Theatre, 1641 N. Halsted St. Chicago, until Sunday, May 22, 2016. The Chicago presentation will immediately be followed by a special One-Night-Only New York Presentation at The Town Hall on June 6, 2016, broadcast internationally by the WFMT Radio Network with the entire Berlin family in attendance.

A 5A Season Subscription is available for $175 (during previews) or $245(post-opening) and includes a ticket to each show in the season as well as a 59E59 Membership (a $59.59 value). Subscriptions to the 5A Season go on sale on Monday, March 7 at Noon. Single tickets are $70 ($49 for 59E59 Members). Single tickets for the 5A Season are available to 59E59 Members during a special Member Pre-Sale beginning on Monday, May 2 at Noon. Single tickets go on sale to the general public on Monday, May 9 at Noon. THE PIANIST OF WILLESDEN LANE Adds Performance at St. James Theatre

?An additional performance, on Wednesday 24 February at 2.30pm, has been added to the otherwise sold-out run of The Pianist of Willesden Lane to meet the overwhelming demand for tickets. The play with live piano music, which opened earlier this month to critical acclaim, must finish on Saturday 27 February.

Hershey Felder as Irving Berlin will now begin performances on Friday October 30th, 2015 in Felder's Chicago theatrical home, the Royal George Theatre , 1641 N. Halsted Street, Chicago. Having broken all box office records in its World Premiere at Los Angeles' Geffen Playhouse, Hershey Felder as Irving Berlin makes its Midwest Premiere in a strictly limited pre-NYC and continuing National Tour engagement. The British import I FOUND MY HORN was originally scheduled for this presentation slot.  However, due to scheduling issues across the pond, I FOUND MY HORN will now appear in the spring slot at the Royal George Theatre.

Having broken Geffen Playhouse season production box office records, Hershey Felder as Irving Berlin returns to the Gil Cates Theater at the Geffen Playhouse for two weeks only, August 4-16, 2015.  The director is Trevor Hay, who collaborated with the performer and creator on An American Story, Abe Lincoln's Piano, Hershey Felder as Franz Liszt and The Pianist of Willesden Lane.
