Inbal Segev Plays BACH CELLO SUITES Album Wrap Party at Lincoln Center Tonight

Tonight, February 25, 2015 at 7pm, cellist Inbal Segev, known for her 'warm, pure and beautiful tone' (Strings Magazine) will celebrate completing her recording of J.S. Bach's monumental Cello Suites with an Album Wrap Party & Concert at The Stanley H. Kaplan Penthouse at Lincoln Center (Samuel B. & David Rose Building, 70 Lincoln Center Plaza, 165 W. 65th St.).

THE ELEPHANT MAN Ends Broadway Run Tomorrow

Three-time Academy Award nominee Bradley Cooper, Academy Award nominee and Emmy Award winner Patricia Clarkson and Alessandro Nivola will play their final Broadway performance in Bernard Pomerance's Tony Award-winning classic The Elephant Man on Saturday, February 21 after 35 previews and 83 regular performances. Directed by 6-time Tony Award nominee Scott Ellis, the production began performances on November 7, 2014 and officially opened on December 7, 2014 at Broadway's Booth Theatre (222 West 45th Street, NYC). The Elephant Man begins a 12 week limited engagement at London's Theatre Royal Haymarket on May 19, 2015 for a limited engagement through August 8, 2015.

Jazz Trombonist Pete McGuinness Comes to the Ware and Winter Centers This Weekend

Pete McGuinness, established NYC-based jazz trombonist, GRAMMY-nominated composer/arranger, award-winning jazz vocalist, and longtime jazz educator is slated to perform at Millersville University twice. Catch Pete McGuinness performing with the students of the MU Jazz Ensemble tonight, February 20 at 7:30 pm at the Winter Center on Millersville University's campus as part of 'Jazz at the Ville'. The Winter Center is located at 60 West Cottage Ave, Millersville.

Robert Oppenheimer and his brother Frank battle between conscience and ambition in Irreversible, Jack Karp's gripping world-premiere drama, directed by Melanie Moyer Williams, about the physicist brothers' desperate race to beat the Nazis to the world's first atomic bomb and their confliction over its use.

Beverly Headlines After-Hours Party at Jewish Museum Tonight

The Jewish Museum presents the next event in its popular series of after-hours events, The Wind Up. Featuring art, live music, activities, and an open bar, The Wind Up will take place tonight, February 18, from 8pm to 11pm and celebrate Helena Rubinstein: Beauty Is Power, the first exhibition to explore the ideas, innovations, and influence of the legendary cosmetics entrepreneur Helena Rubinstein. The evening features a performance by Brooklyn-based garage pop band Beverly, who released their debut album Careers in 2014 to wide acclaim. Fronted by the female vocalist and guitarist Drew Citron, Beverly embodies the 'beauty is power' mantra espoused by Rubinstein as they combine dreamy vocal harmonies with a powerful barrage of guitars and post-punk sound. Rubinstein's iconic style will be celebrated through numerous art activities including: statement jewelry making, nail art inspired by Rubinstein's packaging and advertising, and a photo booth for capturing one-of-a-kind portraits.

Space On Ryder Farm Names Alex Barron Artistic Curator

SPACE on Ryder Farm announced today that Alex Barron will become its first Artistic Curator. An accomplished dramaturg, literary manager and producer, Barron will oversee all artistic programming at SPACE on Ryder Farm - including its residency program and resident writers group,The Working Farm - and will spearhead new artistic projects and programs. Barron will work closely with SPACE's Executive Director Emily Simoness to grow the company's mission while maintaining its commitment to enriching artists and their work.

Joffrey Ballet's 2015-16 Season to Feature Final 'NUTCRACKER,' World Premieres & More

Ashley Wheater, Artistic Director of The Joffrey Ballet, announces an epic 60th Anniversary Season of Celebration in 2015-16 including three World Premieres, the North American Premiere of Sylvia by John Neumeier, the Joffrey Premiere of Christopher Wheeldon's Fool's Paradise, and the return of Frederick Ashton's lavish Cinderella. Notably, 2015 will mark the farewell season of Robert Joffrey's The Nutcracker. The Joffrey has commissioned Christopher Wheeldon, whose An American in Paris is Broadway-bound this spring, to re-envision a major new Nutcracker to receive its World Premiere here in December 2016.

Then, the following evening, Saturday, February 21 at 7:30 pm, Pete McGuinness returns, this time at the Ware Center and accompanied by the Steve Rudolph Trio, for an unforgettable Jazz in the Sky performance with in the Owen Salon, renamed this season in honor of Harvey Owen who retired as the Director of the Ware Center this past July.
