Tony Nominated Laura Osnes and Broadway Talent Adam Kaplan, accompanied by Musical Director (and Usdan Alum) Mat Eisenstein, took to the stage at Usdan Summer Camp for the Arts on Monday, July 16 as part of the camp's 50th Anniversary Festival season. 

This summer at Lincoln Center's Mostly Mozart Festival, pianist Stephen Hough joins Louis Langree and the Mostly Mozart Festival Orchestra for performances of Mozart's Piano Concerto No. 21 in C major, K. 467, in an all-Mozart program at David Geffen Hall on Friday, August 10, 2018, and Saturday, August 11, 2018, both at 7:30 p.m. The program also includes the composer's Requiem, K. 626, and Meistermusik.

As A Bronx Tale enters its final weeks of Broadway performances, the show welcomes Kimber Sprawl, who will join in the role of Jane beginning tonight, July 17. Christiani Pitts played her final performance on July 15.

Award-winning playwright Patricia Loughrey and composer Thomas Hodges announce that five-time NYMF alum Erin Leigh Peck (Motherfreakinghood, Grease! on Broadway) will step into the lead role of Margaret Evans in their original LGBTQ musical Sonata 1962.The production, which will make its Off-Broadway debut this August as part of the 2018 New York Musical Festival's Next Link Project, was originally slated to star Becca Ayers who has had to step out of the show due to booking a Broadway contract.

The Strand Theater Company presents You'd Be So Much Prettier If You..., the product of an ongoing workshop dedicated to developing a community of women. Using the template of consciousness-raising groups that sprung out of the Women's Movement, the women's performance workshop creates a safe space for women-identified participants to talk about their personal lives and socially relevant issues. The final performance, collaboratively crafted from these conversations, reflects the breadth of the participants' experiences and stories.

Nick Cordero, Bradley Gibson, and Hudson Loverro have departed the show. Academy Award nominee Chazz Palminteri continues in the role of Sonny, now performing Tuesdays through Fridays and Sundays beginning next week.

A Class Act NY, the award-winning acting studio will produce a staged reading of award-winning Bobby Cronin's new musical PSYKIDZ on August 24, 2018. The reading will be directed by Broadway Actress Lauren Elder and produced by ACANY Artistic Director Jessica Rofe Grosman and Jonathan Grosman.

It will land in London for its long-awaited UK premiere at The Phoenix Theatre next year with performances from 30 January 2019 and opening night on 18 February 2019.
