New American Folks Theatre opens its 2016 season with the Midwest premiere of the dark, twisted comedy TRASH by Johnny Drago, directed by Derek Van Barham, playing now through May 15, 2016 at The Den Theatre, 1333 N. Shakespeare/Star Wars Mash Up Returning to Chicago, 4/30-5/24

E.D.G.E. Theatre has announced the return of MacSith, April 30 - May 24 at Pendulum Theater Space, 1803 W. Byron Ave. Based on William Shakespeare's Macbeth and set it the Star Wars universe, MacSith is adapted by Orion Couling and Jard McDaris and directed by Couling. Running time is 70 minutes. Previews are Thursday, April 30, Friday, May 1, Saturday, May 2, Thursday, May 7 at 8 p.m. and Sunday, May 3 at 3 p.m. Opening night is Friday, May 8 at 8 p.m. The performance schedule is Thursdays - Saturdays at 8 p.m. and Sundays at 3 p.m. Tickets are $15 for previews and $18 during the run. Pride Films and Plays Adds 4/27 'SONGS' Performance

Pride Films and Plays has announced that an extra performance of the hit musical Songs From An Unmade Bed has been added for Sunday, April 27 at 3:00. The final performance is still scheduled for that same day at 7:30.
