The Pear Avenue Theatre closes its 13th season on a high note, reprising a show that was one of our biggest hits-the contemporary classic, ARCADIA, by Tom Stoppard. Acclaimed as the greatest play in the English language next to Shakespeare, the play continues to enthrall audiences more than two decades after its opening in 1993. Directed by Pear veteran Jeanie Smith, the production runs tonight, June 19 through July 12, 2015. (No show July 4; added performance July 1)

2015 Grammy Award-nominee clarinetist David Krakauer and pianist Kathleen Tagg will perform as "Breath & Hammer" at The Princeton Symphony Orchestra's Mid-Winter Musicale Sunday, February 22, at 5 pm, at the home of Toni Besselaar in Princeton. Martin Farawell, the Geraldine R. Dodge Foundation's Poetry Director and Director of the Dodge Poetry Festival, has announced the complete roster of poets who will be participating in the 15th biennial Geraldine R. Dodge Poetry Festival. In partnership with the New Jersey Performing Arts Center (NJPAC) and the City of Newark, the Festival will be held at NJPAC and at various venues in downtown Newark, NJ for four day starting October 23, 2014.

A multi-media theater performance devoid of actors, 33 RPM and a Few Seconds reconstructs the final moments of a life after the suicide of a young Lebanese man.

The Music Academy of the West will inaugurate an unprecedented partnership with the world-renowned New York Philharmonic and present a new production of Georges Bizet's popular opera Carmen in honor of Marilyn Horne's 80th birthday as part of the Academy's 67th annual Summer Festival. The Music Academy will present some 200 events over the course of its coming season, which begins June 16 and concludes August 9.
