The Tony Award® winning production of Bette Midler's hit musical PRISCILLA QUEEN OF THE DESERT will welcome new principals Adam LeFevre as "Bob" and Julie Reiber as "Marion" to the Palace Theatre when they begin performances on Monday, February 6, 2012.

American Conservatory Theater's (A.C.T.) highly anticipated production of Armistead Maupin's Tales of the City has been extended an additional two weeks through July 24 due to unprecedented demand. The world premiere musical amassed the largest advance sale in A.C.T.'s history prior to its first preview performance on May 18 and has continued to break sales records heading into this week's opening night gala. The glam-rock band Scissor Sisters signed on to write the music and lyrics for ARMISTEAD MAUPIN'S TALES OF THE CITY. The set, which features a lofty set of stairs and landings at 28 Barbary Lane, is by Broadway vet Douglas Schmidt. The cast includes Judy Kaye as Anna Madrigal, Betsy Wolfe as Cleveland transplant Mary Ann Singleton, Wesley Taylor as the book's gay lead Michael 'Mouse' Tolliver and Mary Birdsong as bisexual Mona Ramsey.

'At This Performance,' the ongoing salute to Broadway and Off-Broadway standbys and understudies is set to continue March 20-21.

On March 7, The 24 Hour Company teamed with the Exchange to produce The 24 Hour Musicals at The Gramercy Theatre. Four brand new musicals were written, cast, rehearsed and performed in a single day, featuring an star-studded line up of Broadway performers, composers, writers, directors, choreographers and musical directors. Creative director Ted Sperling (musical director of Light in the Piazza, South Pacific and Guys & Dolls), led some of the theatre's brightest talent from Broadway, film and television as they collaborated under one roof, in one day, to create original musical theatre. The Berkshire Theatre Festival has announced the cast for its production of Jason Robert Brown's THE LAST FIVE YEARS, which will play from June 22 to July 10. The production, which will be directed by Anders Cato, will star Julie Reiber as Cathy and Paul Anthony Stewart as Jamie.

Saturday will mark the opening of Main Stage shows for BTF's 2010 season with Jason Robert Brown's The Last Five Years.

Julie Reiber and Paul Anthony Stewart will be kicking off the 2010 Main Stage season in The Last Five Years. Written and composed by Jason Robert Brown and directed by Anders Cato, this musical tells the story of the relationship of Jamie and Cathy in a unique way: Cathy starts the show at the end of the relationship and moves back through to the start, whereas Jamie begins at the couple's first meeting and moves forward through time. This unique and touching musical features incredible music and an intimate look at two people seeking nothing more than love.
