A nine-time Emmy-nominated children's television producer, Stanford joined The Jim Henson Company in 1993 and holds the position of Executive Vice President, Children's Entertainment. She has developed and produced many well-known properties for The Jim Henson Company including Sid the Science Kid, Dinosaur Train, the Netflix Originals Word Party and Julie's Greenroom with Julie Andrews. She co-authored a book series, Jim Henson's Enchanted Sisters, a collection of fantastical comedy-adventure stories for girls published by Bloomsbury and currently in series development with Cyber Group Studios. She holds Bachelor of Arts degrees in Film and Theater from Wesleyan University and lives in Los Angeles with her sons Max and Theo.

Julie Andrews' new Netflix series, Julie's Greenroom, premiered last Friday. I didn't expect to like it since it is geared toward younger audiences, but I ended up loving it! It features really catchy songs and many important lessons about all the different parts of the arts: from singing as a group and writing songs together to improv and even clowning. Here are five of my favorite things about the show:
