Coca-Cola Summer Film Festival On Sale Now

The Fox Theatre today announces its 2017 Coca-Cola Summer Film Festival schedule featuring family-friendly titles sure to entice both kids and those who are kids at heart. Guests will be singing a tune with sing-a-long versions of Walt Disney's animated gem "Beauty and the Beast," as well as the Julie Andrews' timeless classic "Mary Poppins." Additionally, wizards and muggles alike will be mesmerized as all eight "Harry Potter" films will be showing at the Fox Theatre with triple- and double-headers throughout August. Fan favorite Saturday AM Cartoons will be returning, and in celebration of its 75th anniversary, "Casablanca" will have fans "playing it again" with Rick and Sam.

Musical Theatre West brings a "Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious," production of Mary Poppins to the Carpenter Performing Arts Center July 7-23.  Practically perfect in every way, it's a high flying fun filled adventure for the young and young at heart.  Based on the books by P.L. Travers and the classic Walt Disney film, Disney and Cameron Mackintosh's production features the delectable Sherman Brothers score, including 'A Spoonful of Sugar,' 'Jolly Holiday,' 'Let's Go Fly a Kite,' 'Step in Time,' and 'Chim Chim Cher-ee," as well as new musical additions, by the Olivier winning team of George Stiles and Anthony Drewe.   Tickets are now on sale at www. MTI Acquires Licensing Rights to My Fair Lady, Brigadoon, Camelot, Paint Your Wagon, and The Day Before Spring

Drew Cohen, President of Music Theatre International (MTI), announced today that MTI will represent the secondary stage performance rights to five musicals by the legendary writing team of Lerner & Loewe, including their masterpiece My Fair Lady, the beloved classics Camelot, Brigadoon and Paint Your Wagon, and their newly-restored early work, The Day Before Spring.   MTI, from June 1, will begin representing My Fair Lady in the US, the UK, and all English-language territories, and will represent the four other titles on a worldwide basis. (Some restrictions may apply).
