Barrington Stage Company (BSC), the award-winning theatre in downtown Pittsfield, MA, under the leadership of Julianne Boyd, Artistic Director, and Tristan Wilson, Managing Director, presents the BSC Musical Theatre Lab (William Finn Artistic Producer) world premiere production of The Golem of Havana, a new musical with book and direction by Michel Hausmann, lyrics by Len Schiff and music by Salomon Lerner.

Continuing it's highly successful cabaret season, Barrington Stages, Mr. Finn's Cabaret presented KT Sullivan this weekend. The cabaret which bears Tony Award winning Mr. Finn's name has been experiencing sold out performances for this summers Cabaret Series. William Finn is the Artistic Producer of BSC's Musical Theatre Lab.

Barrington Stage Company presented the phenomenally entertaining Fyvush Finkel in a show that is a musical celebration of the 91 year old's long career last night. It is fitting that after a sold out run of his 54 Below nightclub debut Mr. Finkel chose William Finn's Cabaret as his next cabaret appearance. Berkshire audiences were treated to this masterful entertainer who 80 years ago was a star in the pre broadway Yiddish Theater. Barrington Stage Company (BSC), the award-winning theatre in Downtown Pittsfield, MA, under the leadership of Artistic Director Julianne Boyd and Managing Director Tristan Wilson, presents Breaking the Code, Hugh Whitemore's biographical drama of Alan Turing, starring BSC Associate Artist Mark H. Dold. Directed by Joe Calarco, performances of Breaking the Code are from July 17 through August 2, with a press opening on Sunday, July 20 at 5pm.

Known for their international vision of new plays, The Play Company (PlayCo) is pleased to announce that Working on a Special Day, their 2013 co-production with Mexico City's Por Piedad Teatro, has gone on to a series of international engagements, including the Edinburgh Fringe (August 2013), Singapore's M1 Festival (January 2014) and the Adelaide Fringe Festival (February 2014 - Winner, Peace Foundation Award). After an award-winning engagement at the Prague Fringe Festival (May 2014 winner the Performance Award and the Creative Award) the play returns to the U.S. for a run at the Barrington Stage Company in Pittsfield, Massachusetts; June 18-July 6. The touring life of this play marks a new level of international exchange in PlayCo's pioneering mission to support a global approach to contemporary theatre.

Broward Center for the Performing Arts and Matthew Lombardo present the Barrington Stage production of Becoming Dr. Ruth with Debra Jo Rupp as Dr. Ruth Westheimer at the Parker Playhouse in Fort Lauderdale from tonight, April 16 through Sunday, April 20. Tickets go on sale Friday, January 31for the acclaimed Mark St. Germain play, which is directed by Julianne Boyd and is part of the WinterStage Series at the Parker Playhouse. The production comes direct from New York and will be produced by Michael Alden, Stefany Bergson and Rodger Hess.
