Totem Pole Playhouse, America's beloved summer theatre located in Caledonia State Park between Gettysburg and Chambersburg, PA, has announced the opening of the Totem Pole Playhouse Academy. The new performing arts training center will be housed in the Playhouse's recently renovated rehearsal space named after Totem Pole's former Artistic Producer and Directors, Carl Schurr and Wil Love.
Variety says Judd Apatow, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Lilly Singh and Olga Kay (among other stars) will participate in a get-out-the-vote streaming comedy special dubbed 'Telethon for America.' The stream will go out on the evening of November 5th, one day before the Midterm elections.

The Kennedy Center today unveiled an all-star lineup and new producers for the 21st annual Mark Twain Prize for American Humor, which this year will celebrate Julia Louis-Dreyfus.
